Just Be You, Sister Girl! is an empowering journaling workshop curated and led by Dr. Tasha Thompson-Gray, an author, educator, and speaker dedicated to creating safe, affirming spaces for Black women. Dr. Tasha guides participants on a powerful journey of reflection, healing, and self-discovery using her signature journal. Women explore cultural identity, workplace dynamics, mental health and wellness, and resilience. This transformational experience leaves attendees feeling seen, celebrated, and equipped to walk into their truth unapologetically. Each workshop is a safe space for Black women reflect, reset, and rise together.

Facilitated by Dr. Tasha Thompson-Gray, this transformative workshop is rooted in her guided journal, Co-Parenting in P.E.A.C.E. Designed for co-parents committed to creating emotionally safe and supportive environments for their children, the workshop uses Dr. Tasha’s P.E.A.C.E. framework—Partnership based on Effective communication, Accountability, Collaboration, and Empathy. As a product of peaceful coparenting, skilled educator, author, and co-parent herself, Dr. Tasha leads participants through reflective activities and real-life strategies to help them shift from conflict to cooperation. This experience empowers co-parents to move forward with clarity, compassion, and shared purpose.

Dr. Tasha Thompson-Gray brings history to life in her engaging workshop, Genius in Our Genes, based on her children's book My People are Innovative: A Story About Black Inventors and its companion Coloring/Activity Book. As the workshop facilitator, Dr. Tasha leads students through a vibrant exploration of Black inventors who have shaped American innovation. With a dynamic read-aloud and hands-on activities, she empowers young learners to connect with their heritage and recognize the brilliance within themselves. Every session ends with students creating a keepsake project to take home; rooted in pride, creativity, and cultural celebration.
